3RRR presents
Ned Collette Band. With Mick Turner, Rand and Holland (Syd), Cuba is Japan.
Ned Collette Band come to the Thornbury Theatre on March 27 for their first headline show of 2009. Having spent the best part of six months on two European tours, they are still to head to New Zealand and the mysterious Camp A Low Hum Festival, and will grace the stage at Summer Tones in February. A third album is almost complete and so there are new songs and a freedom in the music that has been set loose by months on the road. They are very happy to announce that guests at Thornbury will be Mick Turner (of Dirty Three/Tren Brothers fame), Sydney's Rand & Holland in an all too rare trip south, and Cuba Is Japan, the fascinating new project from among others, Cameron Potts of Baseball/ninety-nine.Tickets: $14 plus booking fee, $18 on the door
