Underbelly Dance presents SHARON KIHARA & DEB RUBIN live in concert. Direct from the USA and fresh from many international tours, these two exceptional Belly dance artists are here to grace Australian audiences with their unique take on the prolific style that has come to be known as Tribal Fusion Bellydance. Sharon Kihara A seasoned performer, inspirational teacher and exotic personality, Sharon Kihara is known the world over for her avante garde and slightly eccentric artistry, as well as for her skillful, graceful and powerful technique. Sharon joined the Bellydance Superstars, in early 2004, and has been touring internationally full-time ever since, promoting her striking style and successful instructional DVD to the world. Deb Rubin Deb Rubin has been a life-long dancer and performer, trained and proficient in many styles. She was a 5+year core member, and co-choreographer with the ground-breaking, trend-setting Ultragypsy Bellydance based in San Francisco and now tours internationally to deliver workshops and performances in her unique style. A holistic health counselor, somatic educator, yoga teacher, and integrative bodyworker, Deb is also the founder of SattyaBodyHealingArts and Dance Collective. Underbelly Underbelly is a Melbourne based institution specialising in exotic arts. The company was founded in 2001 and has since presented countless performances and delivered literally thousands of classes in a range of arts from Belly dance to Bollywood, African, Fire Arts and more.
